Workshop Three – Requirements Gathering for the Humanities – Establishing and Embedding Best Practice

The session will aim to produce the first draft of a requirements capture ‘Guide to Best Practice’ for ICT projects in the Humanities.

Building on the outcomes of the previous two meetings the group session will define the focus of future user requirements capture within the humanities, drawing up a first draft of a ‘best practice’ document and establishing a plan for the ongoing review, preservation and dissemination of the document. The workshop will consider how its work might be embedded in the community and identify the opportunities for further discussion and collaboration with the eScience community.

To make the session as collaborative and accessible as possible the workshop will be hosted in the new Access Grid facility at the Oxford e-Research Centre. Participants are welcome to attend in person or via the Access Grid. When confirming your attendance, please state if you would like to participate via the Access Grid and further details will be sent to you accordingly.

Please confirm if you would like to attend and whether you wish to stay for a short lunch after the workshop by emailing ruth.kirkham@humanities.ox.ac.uk by Tuesday 16th January 2007.
